Personal Protection Training and Tactics with Chris Fraize of Canine Solutions Training Services.
Limit 10 teams or dogs.
This seminar will include personal protection scenarios, tactics, problem solving in handling, decoying and environmental training. This seminar will also explain the differences between practical personal protection training and the stereotype that seems to define personal protection and personal protection sports on the internet and in the sport world.
This hands on dynamic seminar will also benefit handlers and dogs currently training in the Ringsports, Schutzhund or Police K-9 work.
All levels, breeds and handlers and decoys are welcome to attend this safe and professional seminar. (Decoys should bring their own suit. If you do not have a suit there may be one available but we cannot guarantee fit.)

Sunday’s Events : August 31st
3 level personal protection tournament!
Novice, Intermediate and Advanced Levels.

· Novice Entry Fee $25.00, Intermediate Entry Fee $35.00, Advanced Entry Fee $45.00 (All proceeds to go to the host club.) No refunds are implied nor intended. Please make checks payable to
· Trophies will be awarded for 1st through 3rd for each level.
· No dogs titled in bite work sports or previous personal protection tournament placements will be permitted in the novice level. Novice level is for novice dogs!
· Novice will be on leash (there will be a short send with the leash on).
· There will be a civil exercise in each level.
· There will be a defense of handler in each level.
· Intermediate and advanced levels will be both on and off leash.
· The advanced level will be sequestered and the exercises will be unannounced until the day of the advanced level.
· All competitors must have a properly fitted flat collar and 6' leash. (Steward will check equipment before level is started).
· All dogs must be up to date on rabies.
· Teams that present a danger to spectators, judges or other dogs or handlers that demonstrate a lack of physical or verbal control will be dismissed with no refund.
· No alcohol or drugs are permitted on or around the protection tournament grounds.
· Any handler or spectator that exhibits signs of inebriation or intoxication will be dismissed.
· Verbally abusive competitors and /or spectators will be asked to leave the premises.
· Dog aggressive humans will be asked to leave the premises.
· All dog owners are responsible for picking up after their dogs. Please dispose of in the assigned areas.
